Welcome to Gossly! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Gossly mobile application (the "App"). By creating an account, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Gossly. By signing up, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide during registration — including your name and email address — is accurate.
As part of your profile, you may optionally provide a phone number. Your email address is required for account creation and login, while your phone number is optional and used solely to complete your profile. Both are stored securely and are not shared publicly.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

You own the content you post ("User Content"). By posting, you grant Gossly a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and distribute your content solely to operate the App and deliver it to other users.

The anonymous chat feature connects you with a random stranger for a real-time text conversation. Neither user's identity, name, or profile is shared during an anonymous chat session. Messages in anonymous chats are not permanently stored and are removed when the session ends.
You are still responsible for your conduct during anonymous chats. Abuse of this feature — including harassment,sexually explicit, threats, or sharing illegal content — may result in account suspension or termination.
The Snap Camera feature requires access to your device's camera, microphone, and photo library. You may only use this feature to capture and share content that complies with these Terms. Content captured via Snap Camera that is posted to the App is subject to the same rules as all other User Content.
You may deactivate or permanently delete your account at any time from the Settings screen in the App. Upon deletion, your posts and personal data will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct harmful to other users or the platform.
Gossly uses Google Firebase for authentication and data storage, and Cloudinary for media storage. Your use of the App is subject to these providers' terms and policies. We are not responsible for the performance or actions of third-party services.
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. As a startup, features may change, and we appreciate your patience as we improve.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Gossly shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including loss of data or content.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in India.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you through the App. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
